SEPTEMBER 2019 MONTHLY OBSESSIONS

Yes. Somehow it is that time of month again. The last Friday. I am STOKED because that means October is right around the corner and that is my very favorite month (besides January and July – which are birthday months in this house). Halloween is SO SOON. EEEEK. I have lots of good stuff in this month’s monthly obsessions – from my new favorite lip balm to the perfect podcast to get you through the day to the baby clothing company I cannot get enough of. Let’s dive into this!

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Collection Tinted Lip Balms

I have been wearing these on repeat because 1. they are in the same formula as my holy grail lip treatment from PF and I keep one of those in every room of my house + my diaper bag + my car – no joke and 2. they are the PERFECT amount of color!! I love the Tawny Nude shade the best right now because it’s warm toned and perfect to match all of my fall clothes. They fade nicely throughout the day without leaving weird streaks or patches on my lips. 

Dr. Scholl’s Snakeskin Booties

Guys. I never thought I’d be a snakeskin girl (but then again – I never thought you’d voluntarily catch me in camo either and yet HERE WE ARE). These are SO CUTE – and you know Dr. Scholl’s is my all-time favorite shoe brand. They have seriously upped their game and every single pair of their shoes is beyond comfortable. Because you shouldn’t have to sacrifice style for comfort, right?! 

Briogeo Organic Cold Pressed Castor Oil

This stuff is AWESOME. I have started using it on my eyelashes because unfortunately for me – I’ve pretty much ruined my natural lashes by wearing falsies almost every day. Ugh. I love love love the look of false lashes – but my real lashes have suffered as a result. I used to have long lashes on my own. I do plan on getting eyelash extensions at the end of October once 100 days of makeup is over but for now, I’m strengthening my natural lashes with Briogeo’s castor oil and I really feel like it’s helping. Plus I’m just obsessed with this brand in general.

Noobie Box Nursing Box

I got the Noobie Box pregnancy boxes back when I was pregnant with Jack – and loved them!! I reviewed a couple on my IG stories a few months ago and you guys loved them, too. I just got a nursing box this past month and I LOVE it. It’s full of awesome goodies if you are breastfeeding and I plan on using all of it. Plus – they had this really cute “ten tips for breastfeeding” guide included and I feel like they would be so helpful for the new nursing mama. In my box I received: washable nursing pads, lactation cookies, kiinde breastfeeding starter pack and upspring milkflow breastfeeding supplement, motherlove nipple cream and the cutest nursing cover! 

TooFaced Natural Face Bronzing, Highlight + Blush Palette

I got this in my Boxycharm box this month and OK SO CUTE. I love traveling with palettes like this because it cuts down on the amount of products I need to take with me places and this one is perfect. It’s got the perfect natural highlight shade, a nice warm bronzer and a poppy pink blush that you can pack on or layer lightly. 

eMeals Meal Prep Service + App

I talked about this on Monday on my IG stories – but I LOVE this service. I’m going to try to get a coupon code for you guys. It’s the best because you pay $5 / month and they give you recipes (we are on the quick + healthy plan) and then it auto-populates your ingredient grocery list (we use Walmart grocery). Lauren Conrad Asking For A Friend Podcast

I have been binging this podcast and am now up-to-date on all the episodes. Lauren Conrad is in my “if I could have lunch with any celebrity list”. I’ve been obsessed since The Hills – and I totally wish I could meet her. The podcast is real, down to earth and funny!

iPhone 11 Pro Max

I just upgraded my phone this past weekend and I gotta say – it’s worth the update. I love the cameras and they have been AWESOME for capturing high quality video and pictures on the go. There is a significant difference in my photo quality. And let’s be honest – that’s 90% of the reason I got the new phone. I like being able to upload pictures from my phone to IG and the blog and it’s nice to have great quality images of Jack, too.

Otterbox Symmetry iPhone case

These are my FAVORITE phone cases!!! I love them. I like that they are not bulky AT ALL – they are sleek and cute. They come in a variety of styles (I have the clear sparkly case) and they actually protect your phone. They are Otterbox, so I feel confident my phone will be protected and look adorable all at the same time. I just put a pop socket on the back to hold it more comfortably. 

Carter’s Baby Clothes

Adam is going to KILL me if I keep buying Jack baby clothes but I literally cannot help it. They are too cute and when I find boy clothes that are actually cute (because let’s be honest – boy clothes are WAY harder to find than girl clothes and I’m salty about it) – I need to stock up on all the things. Plus Jack is growing so fast now I feel like I need to keep getting more stuff to fit him. #whoops Carter’s has the cutest little shoes, thermals, joggers and sweatshirts! I am loading up for Jack’s fall wardrobe!
