Hello, my lovely readers! Today’s outfit of the week choice is perfect for date night. It is fun, flirty and feminine. It is perfect for transitioning into the month of pinks and reds and love (and fingers crossed…spring!)

Idaho is SO SNOWY this time of year. And freezing. So this was a little on the chilly side without a jacket (but I just really wanted to show it to you guys…especially since a lot of you don’t live in places that regularly reach about-40 on a daily basis). I actually wore this skirt in my engagement pictures so I love it even more, obviously.

The pieces of this outfit are easy to put together, so most people will have the essential elements necessary in their closets already (because finding new ways to use the clothes you already own is one of the most exciting things I can think of).

OKAY. Let’s dive into this. Here is this weeks outfit:

The snow made walking in these shoes almost nearly impossible (but I am a boss and I did not fall one time). Let me get this out of the way: I am a huge fan of chambray shirts. They are versatile and can be worn all year round, pretty much. Literally every season has a version of this shirt. You can wear it underneath a sweater for winter, with a scarf for fall, over a dress for spring and summer…so many choices. I love it.

This skirt is so awesome. It has two layers so it is completely opaque. It is an A-line style, which means it has a little bit of flair and lays nicely over the hips. It cinches right at the waist (I really prefer all of my dresses and skirts to cinch at the waist. Shift dresses work well for a lot of people, mainly everyone but me). Cranberry has really been my color of the season. Cranberry skirts…shoes…lipsticks…sweaters…it is my favorite color. It flatters every skin tone and I have actually never seen anyone look bad in it. So. That speaks for itself, I think..

Also this purse is my other favorite. I showed my little brown purse last week, and that was awesome because I love that thing. But this week I am showcasing my other favorite purse. It is also by Coach, so the leather is really soft and it will hold up for years and years to come. The black color means that, like brown, it goes with mainly all of the colors ever except navy.

This necklace was one of the best purchases I’ve made in the last year. I wear it all year round because it has so many colors in it that it can work with every season. It is sparkly (and therefore matched my shoes. Priorities, people). I recommend adding a few statement necklaces to your jewelry arsenal for the coming spring. They are perfect for dressing an outfit up (even something as plain as a white or grey v-neck can be instantly glammed up with one of these babies).

I love wearing skirts and dresses and I love glitter and I love anything that shines, so this outfit rocks my entire world. I added my favorite wine colored lipstick to top off this outfit. Don’t be afraid to wear dark lipstick, ladies, it can be the entire key of pulling an outfit together 🙂

I hope that you enjoyed this Outfit of the Week post today! Have any styles you’re dying to see? Questions or comments on this style? Drop a comment below or comment on my Instagram (@blondeandambitiousblog). I love hearing from you guys!
