It’s a new year! We had one scare this month and I thought for sure we were going to have our baby but he decided to calm down and stay securely tucked inside so it looks like we will have a February baby after all! These are some of the things I’ve been absolutely LOVING this month.

Living Proof Heat Protectant Spray

This heat protectant is SO good! It came highly recommended to me by my hairstylist and so far – I’m in love with it! It’s very lightweight, doesn’t add any pull to my hair and it smells amazing. My concern with adding multiple extra products to my regimen is always weighing down my hair styles since I have fine hair – but this is great!

Kind Breakfast Bars

These are SO GOOD and have made it into my every day snacks. They aren’t enough for a full breakfast for me – but they are GREAT as a mid-morning snack. I personally like the blueberry almond flavor best. Being pregnant and always needing snacks, I keep one in my purse at all times!

Olaxplex No. 0 & No.3

Ok I’m not really sure why it took me SO long to get on the Olaplex train but…I’ll probably never get off of it. My hair was really damaged when I went into my last hair appt so my hairstylist knew we needed to do something about it. She put me on a healthier haircare system that includes the No. 0 & No. 3 Olaplex products to help strengthen my hair so there isn’t so much breakage. I have loved the results so far and plan on keeping it up for the foreseeable future!

Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint

This has become my favorite foundation of all time – and I feel like that sounds dramatic but hear me out. I really like light coverage foundation – yes even with my acne scars – because I want my natural skin and texture to be able to show throw and not be caked over with foundation. Usually I find a foundation I like and just mix it with face lotion until I find a sheerness I like. BUT I don’t have to do that with this. It’s so beautifully natural with just the right amount of coverage. It wears SO well all day long, covers and corrects with just the right amount of product and builds easily. 10000000/10.

Beats Wireless Headphones

I got these for Christmas and LOVE them! Long ago back in college I had a pair of Beats (not wireless) that I loved but they bit the dust a few years ago. I’ve been wanting a better set of headphones for my podcast recording and these are perfect. They also look beautiful and fancy on my desk next to all my podcast equipment. But truly – the sound and recording quality is awesome.

Sweet Water Decor Happy Birthday Candle

I buy this candle every year in January because it is my favorite scent to burn during birthday month. I am not typically a sweets-dessert type candle scent lover – but I make an exception every year because I want it to smell like I am blowing out candles on a birthday cake all month long. 🙂 This candle brand is one of my favorites and I haven’t been disappointed by a scent yet!

Target Nursery Mirror

We bought this mirror for Noah’s nursery and LOVE IT! It is the perfect look for his room. We went with all light wood / white / grey / navy for his decor and it really pulled the room together. Plus, it isn’t exorbitantly expensive which I appreciate. Almost everything in his nursery is from Target! Shop it here.

Toddler Fleece Hat with Ear Cuff

I picked this up for Jack the other day because it snowed unexpectedly and he wanted to play in it! I LOVE this hat because 1) it’s great for little heads, 2) it is fleece lined so it is super warm and 3) it has the attached ear cuffs so my little peanut stays warm. Every mother of toddlers knows that it’s impossible to keep earmuffs on a 2 year old, so this ensured he didn’t have to wear something he didn’t like, and his ears stay warm!

Glass Smoothie Straws

I switched to glass smoothie straws recently because I wanted having a hard time drinking my thicker smoothies out of my skinny metal ones – and I’ve become increasingly paranoid about not being able to see inside my straws to make sure they’re perfectly clean. These are the perfect smoothie thickness and I can see inside them when cleaning!
