HI friends! I’m back again for ROUND TWO of my Dime Beauty round up. If you missed by first round up of my favorites + fails from the Instagram-famous brand, you can check it out HERE. I did a big haul of their initial hero products and after getting them approved by my derm, I got to test out which ones I loved and which didn’t make my would-use-again pile. Now that they’ve released even more products in their line up, I thought we’d do it again and see which new products are must-uses and which ones are could-skips! Let’s dive into it.
DIME BEAUTY: WORTH THE HYPE? HITS & MISSES!
Just as a refresher: I am still using my Dewy Day Cream AND my Restorative Night Cream every single day! They’ve become staples in my routine and I repurchase and keep them in stock all the time. I also use the eyelash serum every day, morning and night. I’ve seen a HUGE difference.
7 SUMMERS PERFUME – HIT!
I have been wearing this perfume almost every day since it came in the mail. It’s akin to an older sister of Bath & Body Works’ Warm Vanilla Sugar. It’s SO subtle but I get compliments every time I wear it. It smells so inviting and could definitely be worn into the fall. Love adding it to my perfume collection!
TBT CREAM – MISS!
I love the idea behind this cream, but it didn’t sit super well on my skin! It was a little too thick underneath my restorative night cream so I didn’t like wearing them both together.
TBT SERUM – HIT!
This, however, was perfect paired with my night cream! I love that it’s an alternative to retinol without being so harsh on the skin (+ it’s pregnancy safe. But always check with your doctor first). It’s nice and light without being oily and I didn’t notice it irritating my acne or skin texture at all.
BLUE FACIAL OIL – HIT!
This facial oil is awesome! This is made specifically for people with acne prone skin (hi, that’s me) in mind. It reduces inflammation, helps stop active acne bacteria, is hydrating and promotes wound healing for speedy recovery with minimal scarring. It’s become a staple in my routine.
POWER PATCH – HIT!
These are amazing. I keep them in my bathroom at all times. They are GREAT for bigger acne bumps that you want to reduce in size and really pulls all the gunk out of your skin. I did a before and after using these on my acne on IG stories and it was insane how much they pulled out of my active acne. I’ve noticed smaller acne bumps, increase healing time and less scarring.
THIRSTY FACE MIST – HIT!
I love a good face mist and I rarely meet one I don’t like! This one is refreshing and cooling and definitely hydrating. It’s a fine enough mist that you can use it over your makeup and it won’t mess it up. I like to use it sporadically during the day when my skin needs a little dose of hydration.
