December 2018 Monthly Obsessions

Happy FRI-YAY!!! Raise your hand if you actually cannot believe that it is the LAST FRIDAY OF 2018. Where the heck did the year go?! I’m so ready for 2019 and all of the fun and exciting things that are coming. I had the MOST fun putting this month’s monthly obsessions post together because Christmas season is second only to Halloween for me so it’s been a BLAST coming up with my favorite things and seeing which things I’m finishing the year strong with. Let’s dive into this!

December 2018 Monthly Obsessions

PYT Mini Hair Straightener

This hair straightener is SO AMAZING. I am really pleased for how well it works for my bangs. I love that it’s easy to pack when I travel so I’m not trying to lug a bunch of large tools with me. It’s just adorable and really packs a punch. I thought it would be kind of cheap feeling because it’s so tiny, but it feels REALLY well made.

Pink Faux Fur Coat

This coat was featured in this post and I am OBSESSED with it. It’s warm for the winter, stylish and on trend and is super soft. The coat is super chic and I always get compliments on it. You don’t usually need to spend an arm and a leg on a piece like this either, because it’s more trendy than a staple. 

My BRAND NEW Website

If you haven’t noticed (or if you are new here), my entire website got a facelift. It looks so beautiful and redesigned and I love the brand new features. My shop page is easier to navigate, my makeup artistry page looks a MILLION times better and the home page has so many fun elements.

Covergirl True Blend Matte Made Foundation x Flesh Foundation Stick

Ok. Guys. This is my HOLY GRAIL foundation mix at the moment. I love the way I can subtly contour my face without actually contouring using the two different shades and I love that they sit really dewy on my skin together. They kind of just melt into my skin and don’t settle into fine lines. 10/10.

Manduka Yoga Mat

I love yoga – and after the holidays I plan on getting back into the swing of going a few times a week. I slowed down a bit at Thanksgiving but I really miss it and can’t wait to go back. This yoga mat is sturdy -so I know it’ll hold up for a long time.

This is one of my favorite eye creams of the moment!! It’s natural, which is great because I’m doing my best to try to steer as natural as possible in my skincare in the coming year. Wendy’s Natural Strawberry Lemonade

I know it’s winter. I know it. It is not usually the time for drinks like this – but I got one on a whim the other day and am HOOKED. It is one of the yummiest lemonades I’ve ever had. It’s got real strawberries and less sugar – and it’s just addicting. 

Instax SQ6 Polaroid Camera

I love that this camera prints square!! A lot of the newer polaroid cameras that became popular over the last few years have been rectangle prints, but this one brings back the older iconic square size. I am in LOVE. 

Target Hearth & Hand Marine Moss Candle 

I’m a candle junkie. I loooove scented candles, and at any given time in the year, my go-to scent is sea salt and ocean scents! There are so many candle brands I love that make variations of this scent, but my current favorite is the Marine Moss by the Hearth & Hand brand at Target!! It smells so fresh and so much like the ocean. It’s a clean scent that makes any room feel more like home.

Christmas-themed Tee Shirts

These are the best! I love holiday t-shirts! They are so festive and fun. I have Halloween ones, Thanksgiving ones, and Christmas ones. This top in particular is my personal fave. I have several of these – a long sleeved grey shirt and this cute red one!

I loved ALL of these things this month – and know they will continue to be long-time favorites!! Some of them aren’t super new, but made revivals and others were brand new this month but made a STRONG first impression.
