Happy FRI-YAY! Today ends almost 2 full months of quarantine / self-isolation. WHEW. It’s been a pretty long 8 weeks – but we are. hanging in there. The stay-at-home order is going to be lifted for us in May, but my family will be personally still practicing social distancing for the time being, just to stay on the safe side. THAT BEING SAID – I’ve got a few favorites this month that I wanted to share with you. Some are brand new, some are old favorites making a comeback. Regardless, these are the things I’ve been loving.
APRIL 2020 MONTHLY OBSESSIONS
Cuddle & Kind Dolls
My parents got this for Jack for Easter and I am OBSESSED. Maybe more obsessed than Jack is. 😉 Actually, he really really loves it and sleeps with it every night. It’s a really sweet handmade doll that supports kids who need warm meals! 1 doll feeds gives 10 meals to kids in need. I’ve been really trying to support small business or companies who have great philanthropic missions and this is one of them!!
Social Distancing Sweatshirt
This is probably my favorite purchase of the month. I have worn it several times a week since it came in – along with the t-shirt I got with it that says “I washed my hands”. This shop is GREAT because it is another that gives back. For each purchase, they give money to programs that help children who are out of school – those who relied on school programs for warm meals, after school programs and safety.
Ralalu Play Mat

ABH Norvina Palette
I have been trying to get more use out of all of my palettes so I’m doing one palette a week for a while to try to get more looks and use out of what I currently have. The one I’ve been using the most this month is the original ABH Norvina – it has pink, purple and browns. It’s BEAUTIFUL for spring and such a great and versatile palette.
TikTok
I have fallen victim to the TikTok train. I made an account a few weeks ago and started posting for fun to give myself something that is totally stress-free and something silly to do. It’s SO much fun and I love that it’s a social media platform that I have NO stress about. LOVE. Follow me at @blondeandambitious!!
Iconic Liquid Illuminator
I have been using this liquid highlighter every single day since I got it in my boxy charm! It’s such a BLINDING highlight. I tap it on with my finger and then use my beauty blender to blend it into my cheek bones. I LOVE that I can mix it into my foundation or primer, too, for an extra glow.
Starburst Mirror from Target
We picked up this mirror the other day (well..had it shipped to the house…but you get it) to add to our entry way! We rearranged our living room furniture a few weeks ago and had a blank wall space coming in from our front door so we added a really cute little bench with storage bins and then the mirror above it. A plant is coming next but I haven’t picked the right one out yet.

My bestie Erica (from Coming Up Roses) has published her FIRST BOOK and it’s available on Amazon for pre-order RIGHT NOW for $19.95. It is the PERFECT combination of adorable coffee table cute and actual book of substance. I have a hard time waiting for Monday to come to read the next one. Twinkle Lights
I added some twinkle lights to my floor mirror last week and LOVE IT. It just adds warmth to my office and I have always been a sucker for twinkle lights. When I was in college, I hung twinkle lights around my whole room. These are super inexpensive and easy to hang.
Striped T-shirt Dress from Target
This t-shirt dress is PERFECT for summer and is really lightweight and flattering. I love the spring/summer feel and I love that you can pair so many things with it. My oversized denim jacket is a PERFECT match. It is also really cute with my cropped white denim jacket. It’s a great layering piece.
These are the things I’ve been wearing, using and loving all month long. Here’s hoping that May brings something other than the inside of our home. 😉
